"Our rescue dog Gracie (Grace) suffers from debilitating anxiety and gastrointestinal iissues. We finally got control of her digestive issues and our Internal Medicine Vet suggested that we find a trainer who can help dogs with anxiety. We looked at many behaviorists and trainers but we didn't feel comfortable with any one them. Then we found Lara at Wag and Paw.
From the get go Lara was upbeat and understood how anxiety can impact a dogs life. She designed a program to help Gracie work through some of her fears and gain enough confidence to follow Lara's training exercises. Within 10 days under Lara's guidance Gracie has learned how to settle and "turn-off" so she can rest and reset. Her structured walking skills, playing skills and interactions with other dogs has exceeded our expectations!!
